Jason-Bio

Jason Peters has been a small business owner in the Topeka area for over 20 years.  Initially, he helped grow the CD Tradepost brand from one store to a regional count of 28 stores within 10 years.  Currently he is managing operations, security and cloud infrastructure for a local tech company. 

He started with the community dinner over five years ago, when he and his wife, Kristi,  volunteered for meal delivery.  The following year, they shared the experience with their daughter Akoya and they volunteer as a family now every year.  Jason has been stationed at the ovens cooking yams and turkey for several years and is now overseeing the operations of the entire kitchen.

Jason is also the fundraiser chairperson for the Topeka West Charger Band while his daughter is attending.
